In practice
Pallets, crates, and dunnage must be heat-treated (HT) or fumigated and carry the IPPC stamp. Untreated wood packaging is rejected or destroyed at many ports, including Australia, the US, and the EU.

All pallets must be ISPM 15 heat-treated for the Australian shipment.
