Secured for Passenger and Cargo Aircraft

A security status meaning the cargo has been screened and can fly on any aircraft.

In practice

Cargo must reach SPX status before loading. It gets there either by being screened at the airport or by coming from a Regulated Agent or Known Consignor under a secure supply chain. Unscreened cargo must be screened at the terminal, which costs time and money.

Seen in the wild

Cargo tendered as SPX from our RA facility, no further screening required.
